INTRODUCTION - KEEP IT SIMPLE SURVIVAL

“It is better to look ahead and prepare than to look back and regret.”

KEEP IT SIMPLE” will be the watch words for this site.

There is a lot of Survival information available.  Just search online for terms like “Urban Survival”, Emergency Preparedness”,“Self Reliance”, Self Sufficient”, “Off Grid”, “72 Hour Kit”, “Survivalist”, “Prepper”, or “Survival Preparedness” and see how many links come up.

As I browse web sites, read books, and listen to podcasts, I feel like Sgt. Joe Friday, please “Just the facts Ma’am, Just the facts.”  It seems that most gems of knowledge come at a price. The price is enduring a long rambling explanation of a short, simple subject.  There are exceptions out there but not many.

I am making two basic assumptions.First, you have already decided for whatever reason that you want to prepare for some future event. On the other hand, if you are looking for some motivation to prepare, this site is probably not for you.I don’t plan to be a life coach, spirit-guide or hand-holder.

My second assumption is that you have a life and you want to get the information you need in a short, concise manner. If you want long detailed explanations, again, this site is probably not for you.I plan on making everything short, to the point and as simple as possible.

What can you expect from me?

The site will deal mainly with Suburban and Urban Survival and Preparation. Topics will include disaster and emergency preparedness, prepping, SHTF, TEOTWAWKI, 72 hour kits, self reliance, food storage, survival medicine, backup power, emergency shelter, and  water filtration.

Posts will not be on a set schedule. If I have something worth your time, I’ll post it.

I will not be an “Ad Slave”.  Any products I mention or provide a link to, will be products I have tried and will be from companies I have done business with and will be at a price I believe represents a value.
